Role Overview
Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team! This role is in our Global Technologies and Operations Division, which is a world leader in financial technology that produces and supports a host of digital platforms and software products.
In this role, you will onboard clients for NYFIX which is one of the largest and most established order routing networks in the Capital Market. You will also provide level 2 incident management and application support for all the products that the team is supporting. On top of this, you will also experience performing FIX certification with clients which will enhance your skills in terms of FIX Protocol and Trading knowledge.
We are made up of high-performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Onboarding Clients for FIX Market Place and NYFIX Matching Environment
- Performs FIX Certification with clients
- Configure setup of FIX Connection based on the requirements of clients
- Production Support/ Application Troubleshooting
- Level 2 support for FIX connectivity/routing issues
- Performs deployment of new releases/upgrades of NYFIX Application
- Monitors and troubleshoot Tidal related issues
- Documents operational procedures
- Support for weekend maintenance activities of other Level 2 support (NE, SE, InfoSec)
- Support for client connectivity testing for client during weekends
- Maintenance of IBM MQ Hosted Products
- Deployment and Maintenance of Hosted Appia clients
- Performs basic database admin tasks
- Create tools that will make the operation better and satisfy the needs of internal customers
Your profile
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ethical decision making
- Ability to work in a team environment with emphasis on collaboration with both clients and other internal service teams.
- Ability to perform and thrive in a high-pressure environment
- Willing to work during Night Shift and Holidays
- Bachelor's Degree majoring in either computer engineering, computer science or information technology
