Role Overview
Analyze, process, and validate data to ensure the accuracy of the data within Broadridge internal support tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop Data Quality checks, perform data analysis and identify gaps for feature engineering
- Develop/reuse data models & perform preprocessing, perform data mapping & implement data pipelines
- Work with internal stakeholders to determine file format and data manipulation requirements.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on data manipulation tasks.
- Investigate possible data issues using SQL queries.
- Participate in custom and specialized reporting for various services.
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as necessary.
- Participate in monthly and annual corporate/external audits.
- Assist with automation of technical operation tasks.
- Create and maintain data models, data mapping, technical documentation, including design documents and code documentation.
- Assist in the setup and/or testing of new software.
- Make operational recommendations to Management and the Development team.
- Keep Team Lead informed concerning production issues and escalate when required.
- Other duties as required by supervisor.
Your profile
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent combination of training and on the job experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated aptitude for computer operations.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle the cyclical nature of the industry and fast paced work environment.
- Has the ability to manage multiple projects.
Skills:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Strong consensus building skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional environment.
